Sébastien Bedoret will look to the next round of the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship for a lucky break.

The Belgian registered his second consecutive non-finish when he dropped out of Rally Rzeszow earlier this month with radiator damage.

“I go out a little bit from the road and hit the radiator,” Bedoret explained. “I lose all the water so we stopped to save the engine. It was disappointing and a difficult rally with the problems with the brakes yesterday and the stages being cancelled. Hopefully it will be better next time.”

Barum Czech Rally Zlín hosts the fourth event of the ERC Junior season from 25-27 August. Bedoret is also part of the ERC Junior Experience training scheme.

José Suárez completed his maiden season of FIA European Rally Championship action by finishing second among the ERC Junior U28 contingent on Rally Liepāja to secure third in the final class reckoning.
