Canary Islander Falcón embarked on her second FIA European Rally Championship campaign in the ERC3 category in 2018. After a back injury forced her exit from the Azores Airlines Rallye, Falcón responded well with P10 in class – plus top ERC Ladies’ Trophy points – on Rally Islas Canarias. She finished runner-up in ERC3 on the EKO Acropolis Rally, her third event on gravel, and made it home fourth in class on the Cyprus Rally. She was sixth in ERC3 on Rally di Roma Capitale but crashed heavily on the final stage of Barum Czech Rally Zlín. After skipping PZM Rally Poland, Falcón returned to battle Catie Munnings for the ERC Ladies’ Trophy crown on Rally Liepāja. Having campaigned an R3-specification Citroën DS3 since the start of the year, Canary Islander Falcón switched to a PEUGEOT 208 R2 for her debut in Latvia, which put her in direct competition with Munnings and removing the power advantage she once enjoyed. But in a tense finish, Falcón took the title when the dropped-score rule was applied.
