Providing he outscores his fellow Pole Hubert Kowalczyk on the all-asphalt contest, 19-year-old Abramowski will add the ERC3 crown to the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy title he celebrated ahead of last month’s Barum Czech Rally Zlín.
“Our situation in FIA ERC3 is very good, we are leading with a 28-point advantage and everything is still in our hands,” said Abramowski. “We will go to Wales with the goal of securing the title, we want to drive fast and show the full potential.”
His co-driver Jakub Wróbel added: “We showed [in Zlín] that we can drive very fast and be competitive even on difficult, dirty Tarmac. I’m pleased, because it’s a good sign for the remainder of the season. Now it’s time to fully focus on Rali Ceredigion.”

While Abramowski pilots a Pirelli-equipped Ford Fiesta Rally3, Kowalczyk competes in a Renault Clio Rally3. The 21-year-old heads to Wales second in the standings after claiming top ERC3 honours for Chmielewski Motorsport.
Irish Junior WRC frontrunner Eamonn Kelly will also chase ERC3 points on JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion in a Ford Fiesta Rally3. Kelly was 19.2sec ahead starting the second stage of leg two in 2024 when a crash put him out and handed victory to Jakub Matulka, who competes in the headlining ERC1 category this weekend.

Like Abramowski and Kowalczyk, Adrian Rzeźnik has also been a leading contender for ERC3 success in 2025. However, the 18-year-old from Poland has elected not to include JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion on his schedule for this season, his first at international level.
“We plan to replace the start in Rali Ceredigion with another rally outside the FIA ERC calendar,” he said. “We want to prepare as best we can for the [season-deciding] Croatia Rally. From the perspective of the standings and points, this season has not been successful for us. We are happy with the stages we have won and our pace, and above all, our fans are happy. We are already thinking about next season.”
