FIA European Rally Championship for Teams explained
It’s not just drivers and co-drivers who chase ERC title glory each season. The FIA European Rally Championship for Teams is firmly established with the coveted crown highly sought after.
A maximum of three cars can be registered for the purpose of scoring points in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams. However, it’s the two best-placed cars in the final classification of each rally that bank points.
A registered team entering more than three cars on an event must nominate its scoring drivers prior to the completion of the administrative checking procedure. If no declaration is made, the team in question will not be eligible to score any points on that event.
Any ERC-registered driver is eligible to score Teams’ points for an eligible team regardless of their ERC category.
