Back in 2020, Creighton and long-term co-driver Liam Regan were entered for FIA ERC4 and FIA Junior ERC points on the asphalt event, the first international rally to take place following the easing of lockdown restrictions implemented in response to the global health pandemic.
After running as high as third in class, Creighton retired from the event with an electrical issue. Having won the Junior WRC and British championship crowns in the subsequent seasons, Creighton returns to Rally di Roma Capitale in the headlining ERC1 category.

“Rally di Roma Capitale was my first proper European rally back in 2020, so it’s quite special to return now to such an iconic event and give it another shot,” said the 28-year-old Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy-backed driver. “It’s amazing to come back six years later in a Rally2 car and see how much has changed.”

“We found a nice rhythm at the first Tarmac round of the year, so hopefully we can use that experience and carry that into the rally.
“The entry list is packed with top European and local drivers, so the competition will be intense. It’s going to be a demanding event with mostly new stages to write pacenotes for and a lot of warm weather during the week, so there’s plenty to prepare for.”
