Chris Ingram will return to the FIA European Rally Championship on Barum Czech Rally Zlín after joining Team MRF Tyres for the first of three end-of-season outings in the series he won outright in 2019.
The 31-year-old Briton hasn’t competed since last November’s Forum8 Rally Japan, taking time away from the sport since then following the birth of his son, Romeo.
But he’s back for Barum Czech Rally Zlín at the wheel of a Keane Motorsport-run Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. American Alex Kihurani, who partnered Ingram to British title glory in 2024, will co-drive.
Following Barum Czech Rally Zlín from 15 - 17 August, Ingram is set to contest JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion in September and the season-closing Croatia Rally in October.
It’s a real pleasure to be joining forces with MRF Tyres
“It’s a real pleasure to be joining forces with MRF Tyres, back in the FIA European Rally Championship after nine months away from competition,” said Ingram. “This collaboration is perfectly aligned and has come at the perfect time. I’m really excited to get back in a Rally2 car and in the flow with [co-driver] Alex Kihurani and return for three iconic Tarmac rounds to support MRF’s push for the ERC title.
“We will compete in Zlin with respected local team Keane Motorsport. This is a key step as we build towards a full-time campaign in 2026, something we know from experience can deliver incredible results.”
