The 2024 ERC4 and Junior ERC champion starts the FIA Junior WRC Championship season decider tomorrow (Thursday) locked in a five-way fight for the title.
He’s 14 points behind Taylor Gill but with 50 points on offer for a win instead of the usual 25, and 18 Wolf Stage Win Points still available, the championship fight remains wide open.
And because only the best four results count, Gill would replace a 17-point score from earlier in the year while Johansson discards just eight, giving the Swede slightly more to gain if either finishes strongly in Passau on Sunday afternoon.
In addition to taking the Junior WRC title, the eventual winner will receive four fully-funded WRC2 outings in 2026 in a Ford Fiesta Rally2 with additional tyre support from Hankook.

Johansson prepared for Central European Rally with a strong performance on Croatia Rally, the final round of the 2026 ERC season earlier this month.
Although an accident in the heavy rain of leg two’s opening stage ruled out a finish, the 20-year-old was in the podium fight at the time at the end of his first season at Rally2 level.
