Even though the overall and ERC3 titles have been sewn up by Teemu Suninen/Antti Haapala and Ville Vatanen/Joonas Ojala respectively, several championship battles are still wide open ahead of the all-gravel event, which is based in Fafe from 23 - 25 October.
ERC4/Junior ERC: It’s a straight fight for glory between ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team drivers Timo Schulz and Tom Heindrichs, who are co-driven by Maresa Lade and Jonas Schmitz respectively.

Teams: Team MRF Tyres is on course to win the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams for a record-extending fourth time.
Tyre Suppliers: Pirelli will celebrate back-to-back title triumphs at the finish of Rally 6 Cities North of Portugal on 25 October with Michelin in second place.

What else? The race to finish runner-up to Suninen/Haapala is between Andrea Mabellini/Virginia Lenzi, who were ranked in third place 12 months ago, and last year’s champions Miko Marczyk/Szymon Gospodarczyk. Mabellini is six points ahead of Marczyk with Lenzi 19 points in front of Gospodarczyk, who missed BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia in May due to a prior commitment in the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship.
The runners-up and third-placed crews in ERC3, ERC4, Junior ERC and Master ERC are also undecided.
