Hugely successful in rallycross, JC Raceteknik made selected ERC appearances last season with Reiersen claiming a standout maiden podium on BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia and Grahn building his experience at international level in Rally3 machinery.
For the upcoming seven-event ERC season, Grahn, 20, will step up to Rally2 competition at the wheel of a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 alongside co-driver Christoffer Back. Reiersen, 22, will continue in one of the Czech machines with Stefan Gustavsson co-driving.
Joel Christoffersson, team principal of JC Raceteknik, which is based in Kil, close to Karlstad, said: “We have done a lot of rallying over the last few years as a team, including a number of big rallies with strong results. And we are very experienced at running international programmes around the world in rallycross. But to be entering our first full international season in the ERC this year, as a Swedish team with two fast Swedish drivers, is very special for us.
“Isak proved his potential in the ERC events he did last year, we have worked together for a long time and we truly believe in his ability and dedication.

“We have worked with Adam for a much shorter period of time, but he has impressed me so much with his pace too and he is learning very fast.
“It will be a challenge for our guys with a lot of Tarmac this year in the ERC schedule, but after a lot of consideration, we decided this programme will give them the best grounding for the future, while having the opportunity to show what they can do in a strong field. We’re eager to get going.”

From zero to hero to ERC1 for Grahn

After crashing out of Rally Sweden last month, Adam Grahn responded by winning the Swedish championship-counting Rally Östersund two weeks later.
The second-generation driver is planning to increase his sealed-surface experience at a rally school in Spain, where he will also tackle a local event prior to the 2026 ERC season getting under way in mid-April.
“It’s going to be really exciting to compete in a championship as big as the ERC,” Grahn said. “We did a few rallies last year, which feels good, so we have a better understanding of how everything works. Most of the rallies are on asphalt, which will be a challenge for me as I’m still quite new to that surface, but the goal is to learn and take in as much as we can.
“I’m also looking forward to competing in an ERC round at home in May. It’s great that we have an ERC rally in Sweden, and there are always a lot of familiar faces out on the stages.
It’s fantastic to be doing this together with JC Raceteknik. They always support me in the best possible way. Racing alongside Isak will also be really valuable – he has more experience, and it’s always helpful to be able to discuss ideas, share thoughts and compare ourselves.
“The goal for the season is to keep improving all the time and to be able to set competitive stage times towards the end of the year.”

Reiersen back to build on outstanding potential

Isak Reiersen, a childhood friend of FIA World Rally Championship star Oliver Solberg, banked a podium, two fourth-place finishes and five stage wins from three starts on his way to sixth place in the final 2025 ERC standings.
He said: “After our success in the ERC last year, it’s a nice step to do the whole ERC this season. We had a good overall result in the points last year despite only doing three rounds, showing some great pace and that we are capable of competing at this level.
“When five of the seven rounds this year are on Tarmac, it will be a big challenge as I’ve only done a couple of Tarmac rallies before and it’s still a whole new world to discover. But I'm hopeful that I will learn a lot while also getting great results too. The aim is to get through without any issues and to grab as many points as possible, to give our best and really show what we can do.
“I'm looking forward most to my home rally in Karlstad. We had a fight throughout the whole weekend for the win last year and it was one of the best rallies I’ve ever driven, so of course that’s the one I’m most excited about. This year, the goal must be to win; that’s what we are aiming for. I’m really grateful for every partner who is supporting us in in this programme.”
