Rahill lands combined ERC and WRC bid
Craig Rahill will bid for the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy alongside his FIA Junior WRC campaign in 2026, becoming the latest young star to sign-up for the M-Sport Poland-run contest.
The FIA Junior ERC event winner and ERC Rookie of the Year for 2025 has stepped up to Junior WRC for this season but will tackle the five-event ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy schedule as he builds his experience of the Ford Fiesta Rally3, which is used as standard in both series.
Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy will support Rahill with Conor Smith bringing his co-driving expertise to the programme. Finnish squad KMS Racing will run the Irish pair.
“I’m delighted to be competing in the ERC Rally3 Trophy alongside our Junior WRC programme this season,” said Rahill, 22. “It’s a great championship organised by M-Sport Poland, and I’m really looking forward to returning to the ERC after our success last season where we finished third in the Junior ERC and were honoured to be voted Rookie of the Year.
“The ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy will provide valuable seat time and mileage alongside the Junior WRC campaign. Having experience of many of the rallies from last year, we’ll be aiming to put that knowledge to good use and get the most out of the Rally3 Fiesta and the Pirelli tyre package.
“The level of competition in the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy looks extremely strong this year, so it’s exciting to be part of it. I’m delighted to be teaming up with KMS Racing for the season, they have a lot of experience with the Rally3 package and operate a very professional operation.
“None of this would be possible without the continued support of the Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy and my sponsors, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity.”
