And to ensure second-year drivers don’t get an unfair advantage, only Barum Czech Rally Zlín will be carried over from the 2025 calendar and follow a similar route with the 55th edition of the sealed-surface event due to take place from 14 - 16 August.
BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia and JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion are back as Junior ERC rounds after missing out in 2025 under the championship’s event rotation policy.
The Swedish gravel counter opens the 2026 season from 22 - 24 May with the all-asphalt Welsh contest taking place from 4 - 6 September.
Rally di Roma Capitale hosts round two from 3 - 5 July followed by 82nd Rally Poland from 24 - 26 July.
While the Italian Tarmac round has been a Junior ERC regular over the years, the 2026 route is expected to be predominantly new. And although Rally Poland was also part of the Junior ERC roster in 2025, with the event switching from gravel to asphalt and from Mikołajki to Katowice, it’s expected to represent unchartered territory for all competitors.
Rally Five Cities North of Portugal is a new addition to the Junior ERC calendar and will mark the first since 2018 that a Junior ERC season has been decided on loose-surface stages. Based in Fafe, the event is due to take place from 9 - 11 October.
The Hankook-supplied FIA Junior ERC Championship is for drivers aged 26 and under on 1 January 2026 competing in Rally4 and Rally5 cars.
