Eyvind Brynildsen (BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia)

The 2025 BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia winner blamed a mistake on the Qualifying Stage for his high and unfavourable road position on leg one, which the Norwegian ace reckoned ruined his chances of challenging for a repeat victory. Nevertheless, he fought back heroically from 22nd to seventh for Team MRF Tyres.

Despite his home ERC counter marking only his first full outing in a Rally2 car on gravel, the reigning ERC4/Junior ERC champion delivered with a charging run to fourth overall driving for GK Door Team Sweden. A stunning effort from the Hankook-equipped Swede considering he was 19th following the opening stage.

Tom Heindrichs (82nd Rally Poland)

The Belgian star stayed “clever, calm and cool” for his first FIA Junior ERC Championship victory after a fine drive ahead of Aatu Hakalehto. Leading the Hankook-supplied category by 5.3sec heading into the final leg’s seven stages, Heindrichs resisted early pressure from his Finnish rival to win by 21.5sec after Hakalehto spun on SS11.

Kris Meeke (JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion)

Twenty years after his last appearance on an ERC event as a registered ERC driver, the five-time FIA World Rally Championship event winner came, saw and conquered on his return to the series, landing a debut victory on the Welsh event. Leading by 20.5sec following a fast-paced Saturday aboard his Michelin-shod Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, Meeke continued to attack on Sunday, claiming the win by 38.6sec ahead of Teemu Suninen, who celebrated becoming ERC champion for 2026 in the runner-up spot.
Teemu Suninen

Teemu Suninen (Barum Czech Rally Zlín)

Pirelli-supplied Teemu Suninen overcame his complete absence of Zlín experience – plus the best efforts of fellow ERC stars Andrea Mabellini and Miko Marczyk – to finish a fine second to local ace Adam Březík on Barum Czech Rally Zlín, a result that handed the Finn a huge boost in his title pursuit. He moved into third by winning the second run through the partly-gravel Bunč stage before going quickest again on the repeat of the legendary Pindula test.
