ERC3 winner Bernardi aims for home treble
Having claimed ERC3 class glory on his FIA European Rally Championship debut earlier this season, Florian Bernardi is switching his focus back to the French Clio R3T Trophy this weekend.
Bernardi, who won ERC3 on Rally Islas Canarias in early May, is the top seed among Renault’s one-make contingent on Rallye du Rouergue Aveyron, which takes place from 6-7 July. Bernardi’s fellow Frenchman, Victor Bellotto, will co-drive their Fred Anne Compétition-prepared entry.
Rallye du Rouergue Aveyron is made up of 16 all-asphalt stages over a competitive distance of 209.30 kilometres. Bernardi and Bellotto are on course for their third successive French Clio R3T Trophy victory of the season.
Meanwhile, the 2018 ERC season resumes on Rally di Roma Capitale in Italy from 20-22 July.
