Grzyb continues strong ERC run at home

Polish champion Grzegorz Grzyb continued his strong run of form in the FIA European Rally Championship when he placed fourth on Rally Rzeszow.

Grzyb, with new co-driver Bogusław Browiński alongside, scored his second ERC podium on his previous appearance on the SEAJETS Acropolis Rally in early June.

Although a missed out on a top-three on home soil, the RUFA Sport driver was nevertheless satisfied with his efforts on his local event.

“The weekend was great,” said Grzyb. “I tried to push for third, I didn’t do big mistakes. We have a great team and great fans and thanks for all the support.”

José Suárez completed his maiden season of FIA European Rally Championship action by finishing second among the ERC Junior U28 contingent on Rally Liepāja to secure third in the final class reckoning.

Krisóf Klausz’s strong end to the 2017 FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship continued when he finished sixth in class on Rally Liepāja.
