WRC date change means ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy calendar tweak

Run within the FIA European Rally Championship, the new-for-2024 competition – which hands a fully-supported prize drive on the FIA World Rally Championship-counting Central European Rally to its winner – was originally due to be decided on Rally Silesia from 11 - 13 October.  

But following the rescheduling of the Central European Rally to 16 - 20 October, it was no longer possible to include the Polish asphalt event on the 2024 Fiesta Rally3 Trophy calendar.

Therefore, BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia will take its place and form the second round of the season from 13 - 15 June following on from V Rally Hungary, which hosts the inaugural Fiesta Rally3 Trophy event from 12 - 14 April.  

Maciej Woda, director of M-Sport Poland, the organisation behind the Fiesta Rally3 Trophy, said: “We were obviously really looking forward Rally Silesia, a great event, concluding the inaugural Fiesta Rally3 Trophy. Unfortunately, the Central European Rally’s new date means that won’t be possible in 2024. Instead, we are very pleased to welcome BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia to the calendar and we thank the organisers in Sweden for their assistance. It’s an excellent event and provides a really good opportunity to showcase the Fiesta Rally3 to potential customers in northern Europe.”  

ERC championship manager Iain Campbell said: “We know from William Creighton’s performance in the Fiesta Rally3 on BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia last season how competitive the car can be on that event and how exciting it is to watch. We have no doubt that BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia is going to be a great addition to the Fiesta Rally3 Trophy calendar.”

The revised Fiesta Rally3 Trophy calendar is as follows:  
V Rally Hungary (gravel, 12 - 14 April)
BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia (gravel, 13 - 15 June)
Delfi Rally Estonia (gravel, 5 - 7 July)
Rally di Roma Capitale (asphalt, 26 - 28 July)
Barum Czech Rally Zlín (asphalt, 16 - 18 August)   

Fiesta Rally 3 Trophy: all you need to know
To be eligible for the Fiesta Rally3 Trophy, competitors must first register for the FIA ERC3 Championship and then enter the series through M-Sport Poland. The entry fee per round is €1500 but there is no Fiesta Rally3 Trophy registration fee payable.  

All drivers will use the same specification Pirelli tyre and Gulf’s MSR EVO2 fuel, which will be available on site at every Fiesta Rally3 Trophy event at a discounted price of €2.00 a litre.

Pirelli is generously offering a 15 per cent discount on event tyre packages to all participants. The winner of each Fiesta Rally3 Trophy event will secure 12 new tyres for use on the next event, the runner-up will receive six new tyres with two new tyres going to the third-place finisher.   

Gulf Race Fuels will reward the winner of each round with 300 litres of Gulf MSR EVO2 fuel. The drivers finishing second and third will receive 150 and 50 litres respectively.  

To ensure competitors get access to the best technical assistance available, M-Sport Poland will attend all events with a fully stocked spares vehicle, while its engineers will be available to provide technical support when required.
