Triple threat: Sesks, Llarena and Mabellini named in MRF ERC line-up

MRF Tyres Europe will field a three-car team in this year's FIA European Rally Championship, which begins next week at V-Híd Rally Hungary (12 - 14 April).

Efrén Llarena, winner of the drivers' championship in 2022, embarks on his third campaign for the Indian tyre giant, and will steer a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 alongside co-driver Sara Fernández.

As well as the Spaniards, Latvia's Mārtiņš Sesks and co-driver Renars Francis also remain in the team. Sesks, a three-time ERC rally winner who finished as runner-up in last year's championship, is piloting an all-new Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 supplied by Sports Racing Technologies.

Young Italians Andrea Mabellini and Virginia Lenzi complete the line-up in another Škoda, while customer driver Giacomo Costenaro will strengthen MRF Tyres' presence by contesting a selected schedule of events.

We have all it takes to aim high and we will do so from the first race in Hungary."
