Kacper Wroblewski

Date of birth : 04/05/1992

Wróblewski makes his FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship debut on his home event, PZM Rally Poland. Having clinched the Polish 2WD title at his first attempt earlier this month, Wróblewski is driving his familiar Rallytechnology-prepared PEUGEOT 208 R2 on the all-gravel event. Insisting he’s under no pressure to achieve a strong result following his domestic success, the 26-year-old will spend the event comparing his stage times to his rivals in the Pirelli-supported ERC Junior U27 category. Wróblewski began competing in 2007 and initially achieved success in hillclimbs before switching to rallying in 2010 in the Polish Rally Cup. He utilised skills passed on to him by leading Polish drivers Łukasz Habaj, Jacek Spentany and Piotr Woś, plus his father Wojtek Wróblewski, through intensive training sessions and graduated to the Polish championship in 2014, although it wasn’t until this year that he was able to embark on a full-season campaign. He was previously part of the Polish National Team in alpine skiing and won various competitions and junior and child level. Wróblewski is also no stranger to the ERC having attended a number of rounds with his mentor Łukasz Habaj.
