Roland Stengg

Date of birth : 17/04/1994

Stengg, a 25-year-old from Austria, made his ERC Junior Under 27 debut on Rally Islas Canarias in 2018 and finished seventh in class but retired early on Rally di Roma Capitale after falling ill. He battled back from rolling at 170kph on Barum Czech Rally Zlín to finish an encouraging fifth before finishing a strong fourth in class on the season-closing Rally Liepāja. Unfortunately, a car-wrecking testing accident meant he was a non-starter on this year’s Azores Rallye. The son of 1995 Austrian champion Wilhelm Stengg, Stengg Jr’s first experience of rallying came while co-driving his father in 2013. His grandfather also competed.
