While his classmates are back home in Poland celebrating the latest stage of their lives, Rzeźnik is fully focused on building on his promising start on the international stage having finished second in ERC3 and the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy on last month’s Rally Sierra Morena - Córdoba Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
Although ERC Staff House Rally Hungary is all-new for Rzeźnik and co-driver Kamil Kozdroń, the event marks a return to gravel for the 18-year-old rising star.
“On this surface I have the most experience and on it I feel the best, it is the most natural environment for me,” said Rzeźnik. “In rallies and tests we have already covered several thousand kilometres on gravel in different countries, in the most diverse conditions. I know how to use the grip, how to control the car and the pace. Watching the footage from last year, we are sure that it will be a difficult rally, but we are motivated and will give our best. The preparations were very intense. From the first kilometres we felt confident, so we could work on the car settings.”
It was on gravel that Rzeźnik, together with then co-driver Adrian Sadowski, won the title of vice-champions of Lithuania in the LARC3 class in 2024. They finished on the podium on all six attempts and won Rally Zemaitija and Rally Utena.
Rzeźnik appears on an expanded ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy line-up in Hungary, which now boasts nine entrants as follows:
Tymek Abramowski (Poland)
Márton Bertalan (Poland)
Tristan Charpentier (France)
Casey Jay Coleman (Ireland)
Adam Grahn (Sweden)
Martin Ravenščak (Croatia)
Adrian Rzeźnik (Poland)
Esmar-Arnold Unt (Estonia)
Igor Widłak (Poland)
