Objective achieved as teenage talent Rzeźnik scores in ERC
ERC3 graduate Adrian Rzeźnik demonstrated his potential with his first points in the FIA European Rally Championship’s top tier on 82nd Rally Poland, his home round of the all-action series.
The 19-year-old stepped up to Rally2 level in the ERC on the season-opening 43rd Andalusia Rally - Sierra Morena - Córdoba World Heritage Site in April, shortly before he banked his maiden Polish championship victory on Rajd Świdnicki.
He’s since established himself as a Polish title contender and completed 82nd Rally Poland seven points adrift of championship leader Jarosław Szeja with two rounds remaining, starting with this weekend’s MARMA Rajd Rzeszowski.

The pace was truly blistering
“The pace was truly blistering and Rally Poland also provided plenty of thrills,” Rzeźnik said afterwards. “We’re very pleased with how it went, as we achieved what we’d set out to do. We’ve crossed the finish line, picked up points and are very close to the Szeja brothers in the Polish championship standings, so we can continue to fight for the title.”
