It’s nearly December, but that’s not stopping some FIA European Rally Championship drivers from continuing to rip up the stages.

Several of them were in action on Rally Waldviertel in Austria last weekend, including Dávid Botka (pictured). The Hungarian already had the best attendance on ERC rounds in 2016, but was able to continue the momentum from his fourth place finish on the season finale in Cyprus with a similar result on another mixed-surface test.

ERC Junior graduate Nikolay Gryazin, who starred with his speed in Cyprus, continued to gain mileage in his ŠKODA Fabia R5 on the event. He was delayed by an incident at the end of the first day but claimed a stage win on the second.

Finishing third overall in another Fabia was Jan Černý, the two-time ERC 2WD champion who finished on the podium of this year’s Barum Czech Rally Zlín.

ERC Junior competitor Kristóf Klausz took third among R2 cars.
