Lukyanuk’s ERC Cyprus win bid is go!
Alexey Lukyanuk’s bid to win the Cyprus Rally for a second time – and regain control of the FIA European Rally Championship leaderboard from Chris Ingram – is go.
The Russian, one point behind Ingram in the title fight, joined several ERC drivers at a test today (Tuesday) where he worked on finalising the set-up on his Saintéloc Junior Team Citroën C3 R5.
Lukyanuk also used the test to give high-speed passenger rides to winners of a lottery held by Cypriot company Onan Kynpoy, which is also a sponsor of the 2018 ERC champion.
The Cyprus Rally takes place from 27-29 September.
