ERC Junior Mattias Adielsson will bid to win the SM-Sprint Vinter event live on Swedish television for a fourth year running today.

Having recently announced his FIA ERC1 Junior Championship bid, Adielsson is contesting the event in Sundsvall, 80 kilometres north of his home city of Göteborg, to show and gain further knowledge of his Saintéloc Racing Citroën C3 R5.

Taking place on a 4.6-kilometre stage run four times, the event’s live coverage begins at 09h00 CET on SVT PLAY and again from 14h00 CET on SVT TV. Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo R5) and Patrik Flodin (ŠKODA Fabia R5) will be among Adielsson’s rivals.

“The feeling in the new car is great and I was really happy with our test,” said Adielsson. “I felt comfortable in the car after the first run already and after that we worked with a lot of different set-ups. The competition will be interesting and high and I will do my best to beat them I promise.”

The event in Sundsvall will take place in ambient temperatures of minus 10 degrees centigrade.
