All three drivers, their co-drivers, plus a member from each driver’s team, will be invited to the MICHELIN headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand, France, for an exclusive VIP visit and the opportunity to meet key personnel from the company’s motorsport division. Travel and accommodation will be included as part of the prize.
Rising star Miko Marczyk from Poland overcame stiff competition from Erik Cais, Efrén Llarena and Simone Tempestini to win the ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory top prize in 2021 driving an ORLEN Team-entered Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo.
Following his success in Fafe last October, Marczyk, now 26, said: “The ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory was like a junior category for me and it was tough fighting with Efrén Llarena, Erik Cais, Simone Tempestini and other very fast young drivers. For sure it was a challenge but to win was a signal that our development is progressing in the right way. It also makes me happy to be with MICHELIN, my partner since 2019 when I won the Polish championship that always provides the perfect tyres.”
Entry to the ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory is free and can be carried through an online form available at the official ERC website. To register eligible drivers should follow the link here.
