Breen ready to return to former hunting ground
Craig Breen will be among the contenders for victory when the 2023 ERC season begins. The five-time ERC event winner has signed up to contest the Campeonato Portugal de Ralis (the Portuguese national championship) – of which Rally Serras de Fafe also counts as the opening round – in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2 run by Team Hyundai Portugal.
And the big number is… 17
A 17-stage route over a competitive distance of 180.29 kilometres and using mainly gravel roads is being prepared to challenge the ERC stars and their cars.
Practice makes perfect
Free Practice has been scheduled from 11h30-13h00 local time on Friday 10 March with the Qualifying Stage following from 13h30 ahead of Shakedown from 15h00-17h00.
ERC stars to take to the streets
Downtown Fafe will be home to a spectacular event-opening superspecial stage using Tarmac roads and cobblestone streets on the night of Friday 10 March.
Leaping high on Lameirinha
Although the full itinerary is still under wraps, the legendary Lameirinha test, complete with the iconic Pedra Sentada jump, is set to be used as the event-deciding Power Stage.
Entry list reveal gets closer
Fans are set to find out who will be on the Rally Serras de Fafe entry list, which is due for publication at 19h00 local time on Tuesday 28 February.
