With Johan Johansson co-driving, Rådström will pilot a Ford Fiesta Rally2 for GN Motorsport with Tet Rally Liepāja and ERC Royal Rally of Scandinavia also on his roster of loose-surface ERC events.
“I am extremely charged and look forward to developing and competing internationally again,” said the 27-year-old Swede. “We have a long way to go and need some miles in the body before we’re at the top of the four-wheel-drive class. But the potential is there I feel, and together with GN Motorsport I look forward to the fantastic fun competitions we will run this summer.”
Rådström, a two-time winner in the FIA Junior WRC Championship in the past, and Johansson will join forces with compatriots Pontus Tidemand and Julia Thulin (pictured bottom) in the MRF Tyres-equipped GN Motorsport line-up.
“It will be really exciting,” Rådström continued. “It is a dream of a boy to compete at this level again. We have a really good feeling in the team. We take the development step by step, but Poland has really fun roads, so we will just enjoy. Getting to do this in a Rally2 car is something we both dreamed of for a long time.”
Co-driver Johansson added: “Poland is a competition we like. We have good memories from the last time we were here in 2017. Then, of course, it becomes brand new in a four-wheel-drive car, but we will make sure to have a really fun time and really enjoy this weekend.”
