ERC Save of the Year: Vote now!

FIA European Rally Championship drivers are regarded as being some of the best in the business and fans now have the chance to select a particular moment from the 2023 season when talent and ability really shone through.

Fans can vote online for their ERC Save of the Year from a shortlist of four moments. Scroll to the section below and remember voting will close on 17 September.

The ERC Save of the Year award nominees are as follows:

ERIK CAIS, RALLY SERRAS DE FAFE, FELGUEIRAS, BOTICAS, VIEIRA DO MINHO E CABECEIRAS DE BASTO

While Czech star Cais pulled off two notable saves on his home round of the ERC in August, he also demonstrated his rapid reflexes during the Qualifying Stage for the season opener in northern Portugal back in March, as the following clip shows.

MATHIEU FRANCESCHI, BAUHAUS ROYAL RALLY OF SCANDINAVIA

On his final outing aboard his French gravel championship-winning Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo before he upgraded to the latest Fabia RS for the next round in Rome, a car-wrecking crash on BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia would certainly not have been part of the plan. Find out exactly what happened to the 24-year-old and his trusty Czech machine.

JEANNETTE KVICK, ORLEN 79TH RALLY POLAND

Co-drivers are renowned for being quick thinkers and for being calm under pressure. Jeannette Kvick proved she has both attributes in abundance on ORLEN 79th Rally Poland in May after the Peugeot 208 Rally4 she was sharing with Alfred Kramer went off the road and to a place where it shouldn’t have been. Check it what she saved from a major soaking.

MAX MCRAE, BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN

Proof, if it was need, that spectacular driving runs in the McRae family came on the final morning of Barum Czech Rally Zlín when Colin’s teenage nephew went perhaps a little too flat out in pursuit of FIA Junior ERC Championship success. The moment can be replayed below.   Fans can choose their stage-end quote of the year from a shortlist of four memorable moments during Thursday’s online poll.
