ERC Holiday Special part 1

It’s holiday season in the FIA European Rally Championship. To mark the final few days of the ERC’s 70th anniversary year, FIAERC.com is delighted to present the ERC’s festive top 10. The first five drivers whose names have a festive link follow.

10: GABRIEL Morales
This fast-talking Brazilian (above) co-drove his compatriot Paulo Nobre on 18 rounds of the ERC between 2018 and 2022.  


9: KAREL Kupec
Czech Kupec (below) made five Junior ERC starts and scored a career-high podium on Rally Islas Canarias in 2017.



8: Simon Jean-JOSEPH
Double European champion Jean-Joseph (get it?) was a five-time ERC event winner and still follows the championship to this day.  


7: ROBIN Buysmans
Co-driver Buysmans enjoyed his greatest ERC success alongside Belgian legend Freddy Loix with third place on Ypres Rally in 2005 a highlight.  


6: Miguel ANGEL Suarez
After making his ERC debut on Rally Islas Canarias in 2013, Angel Suarez (below) was a points scorer when he returned in 2022, finishing 10th among the ERC registered crews.
