ERC Holiday Special part 2

The ERC’s festive top 10 concludes today with the remaining five drivers from FIA European Rally Championship history with names linked to the holiday period.

5: NOEL O’Sullivan
Prior to taking ERC3 by storm, Jon Armstrong tackled three Junior ERC events in 2015 with Noel O’Sullivan his co-driver (above).  


4: EVE Wallenwein
Although co-driver Eve Wallenwein never competed in the ERC, her grandfather, father and two brothers, Mark and Sandro, all took part on rounds of the championship.



3: RUDOLF Stohl
Manfred Stohl’s father Rudolf (above) made 21 ERC appearances and claimed a solitary victory in his native Austria in 1987.  


2: Kristóf KLAUSZ
Kristóf Klausz was a teenager when he tackled his first ERC event in 2013. Competing under the Klaus Motorsport banner, Klausz was a Junior ERC regular up until 2019.  


1: JESÚS Puras
As well as success in the World Rally Championship, Jesús Puras (below) won 11 times at ERC level, his last victory coming on Rally Islas Canarias in 2002.
