Tickets for Hungary ERC season opener go on sale

Tickets for the 2024 FIA European Rally Championship season kick-off, Rally Hungary, are now on sale.

Promoted by HUMDA, the Hungarian Mobility Development Agency, a member of the Széchenyi University Group, the fifth edition of Rally Hungary takes place from 12 - 14 April on all-gravel stages around the city of Veszprém, the event’s new base for 2024.

Until 18 March, fans can take advantage of discounted ticket prices with an all-in pass costing 11,000 HUF (approximately €28), a rally pass costing 7,000 HUF (approximately €18) and a ticket for the super special stage on Friday 12 April available for 6,000 HUF (approximately €15).

A junior rally pass for children under 12 is available free of charge. Full details are available at https://motorsportmania.shop.

Kornél Őry, the chair of the event organising committee, said: “Our new location is just north of Lake Balaton in the city of Veszprém with special stages all around, mostly in military areas, that will make for a very exciting competition and a very good test for the tyre manufacturers. The military areas are in open fields and this will give us the opportunity to prepare big spectator zones and people will really like the city of Veszprém.”

As well as launching ticket sales for the ERC season opener, Rally Hungary organisers have unveiled the event’s official poster, which features ERC podium finisher Mixi Csomós, plus leading national drivers Róbert Bútor and Péter Ranga.
