Kohn counts his winnings following ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy success

Filip Kohn didn’t just win the opening round of the inaugural ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy last weekend – he also bagged two big prizes to help his participation on the next event he contests.

Czech Kohn claimed a lockout of category stage wins, 13 in total, on V-Híd Rally Hungary alongside his British co-driver Tom Woodburn.

Kohn’s prize was 12 new Pirelli tyres for use on the next Fiesta Rally3 Trophy event he tackles, plus 300 litres of Gulf MSR EVO2 fuel supplied by Gulf Race Fuels.

Speaking following his ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy triumph in Hungary, 21-year-old Kohn said: “Today was quite fine, we had a really good second stage today, it was really nice and enjoyable. The other stages were really, really rough and we had a hard time but we got through with no big damage so we are happy.”

Kohn, who also claimed the FIA ERC3 Championship laurels, wasn’t the only ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy driver to get a reward. Poland’s Igor Widłak, who finished second, was handed six new Pirelli tyres and 150 litres of Gulf MSR EVO2 fuel for his next ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy appearance, while Croatian Martin Ravenščak won two new Pirelli tyres and 50 litres of Gulf MSR EVO2 fuel for his next event.

The ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy, which takes place over five FIA European Rally Championship events, is a joint initiative between ERC promoter WRC Promoter GmbH and M-Sport Poland, the company behind the Fiesta Rally3.

While Rally Islas Canarias hosts the next ERC action from 2 - 4 May, the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy remains on gravel for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia in Sweden from 13 - 15 June.
