Rally Silesia route details revealed ahead of ERC showdown

An exciting new addition to the ERC calendar for 2024, the Tarmac event from 11 - 13 October is set to be one of the highlights of the season with super special stages planned in central Katowice and around the Silesian Stadium, as well as several challenging and spectacular countryside tests.  

Kajetan Kajetanowicz, the three-time ERC champion, will perform course car driving duties over the event’s 14 planned stages, which are being held under the honorary patronage of Wojciech Saługa, Marshal of the Silesian voivodeship.  

Highlights on Friday 11 October include Free Practice, the Qualifying Stage and Shakedown in Zabrze, the opening ceremony in Katowice, plus a 1.85km super special in the host city, which starts at 20:05 local time near the Spodek, a multipurpose arena in Katowice and one of the symbols of the city.

The action on Saturday 12 October is located in the southern part of the Silesian voivodeship with the day’s itinerary including double runs through the Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Ochaby and Gmina Jasienica stages either side of service at the Silesian Stadium. The Silesian Stadium super special provides the final timed test of the day from 19:30.  

Sunday’s itinerary features three repeated stages using a mix of new and well-proven roads. The all-new Marklowice Górne is up first from 08:55 followed by the Hażlach test and the Silesian Voivodship run, which will form the Power Stage when it’s repeated at 16:05. With a Tyre Fitting Zone only during the deciding leg, drivers must balance speed with car preservation. The Silesian Stadium hosts the finish ceremony from 18:30.
