ERC4 prize choice for Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK winner

The winner of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK can count on a prize package for a FIA European Rally Championship campaign in 2026 – but with a difference.

After the 2024 champion Ioan Lloyd carried away a prize package for a Junior ERC campaign in 2025, Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK organisers have opened up the offering for 2026 with the winner able to select support for a Junior ERC campaign or an ERC4 bid depending on their age.

The hugely attractive package, which has a value of almost €40,000, includes a registration for either the Junior ERC or ERC4 championship in 2026, entry fees for five of six events hosting Junior ERC rounds, plus 12 tyres per round contested.

Raymond Moore, registrar of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK, which caters for the Opel Corsa Rally4, the Peugeot 208 Rally4 and the new-for-2025 Lancia Ypsilon Rally4, said: “I’m very excited to be able to continue the series for another season after we witnessed a fascinating battle for the FIA European Rally Championship support in 2024.

“It’s great to see champion Ioan Lloyd taking up his opportunity for 2025, and we are sure that the grounding and experience he built up in the Stellantis Motorsport Cup IRE & UK this year will be of great help when he heads for the Junior ERC. It will be a proud moment to see him kick off his ERC campaign.

“Once again it’s taken a lot of hard work to make this happen, but thanks to the support of Race & Rally, Stellantis Motorsport, Michelin Motorsport and Protyre Motorsport Ireland we have been able to continue the series.”

The 2025 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup IRE & UK begins with the all-asphalt West Cork Rally in Ireland from 14 - 16 March and features seven further rounds in Ireland and the UK, including the ERC-counting JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion from 5 - 7 September. The events are rounds of Irish Tarmac Rally Championship and Probite British Rally Championship.

“The events selected worked very well in 2024, so we have elected to continue to offer both them and us some stability,” Moore continued. “The only real change we have made is to open the overall prize up to competitors of all ages, meaning a 2026 ERC package is available to everyone, either in Junior ERC or ERC4 which we hope will encourage additional crews to the series.

“Of course, we welcome anyone interested in taking part and we can always assist in locating Peugeot 208, Corsa or Ypsilon Rally4s for the series.”
