Roberto Daprà: Having spent 2024 learning the WRC2 ropes, the 2023 ERC4 champion has upgraded to a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 for 2025.
Adrien Fourmaux: Completed the 2020 ERC season with victory on Rally Islas Canarias. He’s undertaking his first season as a Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team driver in the sport’s top tier.
Nikolay Gryazin (below): A 2025 WRC2 title contender, Gryazin is a four-time ERC event winner and landed the Rally2-based Junior ERC crown in 2018.
Filip Kohn: The 2024 ERC3 champion and ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy winner is making the move to WRC2 for 2025.
Josh McErlean: From nine ERC starts, M-Sport Ford World Rally Team’s new-for-2025 recruit posted a best finish of fourth on Tet Rally Liepāja in 2023.
Grégoire Munster: Runner-up in the Rally2-based Junior ERC standings in 2020 and third in the overall points, Munster was previously part of the ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team line-up in 2019. He’s contesting his second full season at Rally1 level with the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team.
Kalle Rovanperä (top): Prior to making his WRC debut, two-time world champion Kalle Rovanperä made an instant impact in the ERC, finishing runner-up to Nikolay Gryazin on Rally Liepāja in 2017 at the wheel of an M-Sport Ford Fiesta R5. Because of his age, Rovanperä competed on a Latvian licence and therefore flew the country’s flag on the side of his car.
Oliver Solberg (above): The youngest ERC rally winner has a total of four ERC event victories to this name plus the 2020 Junior ERC title. He’s among the favourite for RC2 class honours on Rally Monte-Carlo.
Rachele Somaschini: A regular at ERC1 level and, prior to that, in Junior ERC. Now embarking on her first WRC2 campaign.
Eoin Treacy: Josh McErlean’s new co-driver completed the 2024 ERC season in second place on the Rally Silesia podium following a superb run alongside Jon Armstrong.
Did you know? With the exception of Sébastien Ogier, all Rally1 drivers contesting Rallye Monte-Carlo this week have taken part on ERC events.
