Why change a winning formula? Mareš sets out Poland ERC plan
Filip Mareš will stick to his winning formula when he resumes his FIA ERC1 Junior Championship bid on PZM 76th Rally Poland.
ACCR Czech Rally Team talent Mareš heads to Mikołajki on a high after claiming his first Czech championship win, a result that puts him top of his national standings.
“We are having quite a good season so far, we won Rally Hustopeče [recently] and we even lead the Czech championship now,” said Mareš, an ERC3 Junior graduate. “Based on this we have a plan with my team: to continue on this pace, doing all the things as good as we can and enjoy the whole rally.
“Rally Poland in 2018 was my very first event on gravel with an R5 car. Now we are coming back, still with not so much experience on gravel but generally much stronger in our Fabia. I am sure we can be competitive than ever on gravel.”
