Date of birth : 07/07/1994
Who is he? The son of former British national rally regular Jon Ingram, the younger Ingram got his break when he led ERC Junior on the 2014 Circuit of Ireland Rally in a lower-spec Renault Twingo. While he crashed out in spectacular fashion he won the Colin McRae ERC Flat Out Trophy to forge a reputation that remains strong to this day.
Important support: Support from PEUGEOT UK followed and he took seventh in the ERC Junior standings after switching cars before he improved to fourth in 2015, winning his class in the Azores.
If at first you don’t succeed… Ingram came close to the ERC Junior title in 2016, denied only at the final round by factory Opel team-mate Marijan Griebel, but went one better last season after seeing off fellow Opel driver Jari Huttunen.
Trophy time: Although Ingram missed out on ERC Junior title glory in 2016, he did take the ERC3 championship, a feat he repeated last season.
Stepping up in style: Ingram has graduated to ERC Junior Under 28 for 2018 with backing from clothing company 11 Degrees and carries the number 11 on his Toksport WRT ŠKODA to highlight the partnership.
Making up for lost time: Rally di Rally Roma Capitale was Ingram’s first ERC appearance since illness forced him to withdrew during the opening stages of Rally Islas Canarias in May. And he showed no sign of rustiness with second place in ERC Junior Under 28 and third on the next round in Czech Republic.
