ERC3 month: The big numbers

Today marks the completion of ERC3 month, a celebration of the FIA European Rally Championship’s home for Rally3 cars since 2022.

Having recalled the winners and champions so far, revisited several special moments, highlighted the unsung heroes, looked at the cars that made drivers stars and shone a spotlight on the leading graduates, ERC3 month concludes with a summary of the big numbers.
3: After three cars lined up for the inaugural round in 2022, a best-so-far 13 cars entered ORLEN OIL 81st Rally Poland last June to underline the growth and ongoing appeal of the series.

21: And while six drivers scored points in the first season, a total of 21 achieved the feat in 2025.
14: Following Kaspar Kasari’s victory on Rally Serras de Fafe - Felgueiras - Cabreira e Boticas, a further 13 drivers have won ERC3 rounds for a total of 14 different winners across the four seasons run so far.
6: With six victories, no driver has won more ERC3 rounds than Jon Armstrong. However, Igor Widłak is just behind with five wins.

27: After 27 straight victories for either the Ford Fiesta Rally3 or Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo, Renault’s Clio Rally3 became and ERC3 winner when Hubert Kowalczyk triumphed on Barum Czech Rally Zlín last August.
3: Jon Armstrong’s ERC3 victories were scored alongside three different co-drivers, Brian Hoy, Andrew Browne and Cameron Fair.
2024: The 2024 season marked the launch of the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy, a joint initiative from M-Sport Poland and WRC Promoter GmbH that offers several round-by-round incentives plus an end-of-season prize drive opportunity.
19: Tymek Abramowski was aged 19 when he became the fourth ERC3 champion, making the Pole the youngest title winner so far.

172: Abramowski scored a total of 169 points on his way to the 2025 title. However, when Igor Widłak became the inaugural champion in 2022, he netted a record haul of 172 points.
3: Chmielewski Motorsport gave a clear demonstration of its support to ERC3 by regularly entering a three-car line-up in 2025.
