Matulka has travelled to Croatia as the Polish champion for 2025 following his capture of the prestigious title on Rally Silesia, which took place from 19 - 21 September.
The 25-year-old former competition-level skier has been combining his first season in the ERC’s top tier with a Polish championship campaign. And he delivered in style by securing the national title with one round remaining after finishing in second position.

“I’m delighted, becoming Polish champion is a dream come true,” said Matulka, whose LOTTO Matulka Rally Team-run Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 was co-driven by Damian Syty. “Sealing it at my home event, Rally Silesia, makes it even more special. The start of the rally wasn’t easy for us; we couldn’t find the right rhythm or confidence. On Sunday it clicked – we upped the pace, found a good feeling and managed to beat Grzegorz Grzyb.
“This title and all of this season’s successes are the result of the entire LOTTO Matulka Rally Team. Thank you to Damian for flawless work in the co-driver’s seat, to the EvoTech crew for an impeccably prepared car, and to our recce crew. As always, the support of our fans and partners — without whom we wouldn’t be here — was invaluable. Thank you all. This is our shared success.”

Matulka follows Miko Marcyk (2019), Grzegorz Grzyb (2023) and Jarek Szeja (2024) by becoming Polish champion on Rally Silesia. And Matulka wasn’t the only Polish ERC driver celebrating at the finish of the Tarmac event after Marczyk and co-driver Szymon Gospodarzyk won the event for the third time.
