The island of Gran Canaria is renowned for its stunning beaches, steep ravines, valleys, imposing volcanic calderas, incredible cliffs, and an extensive network of sweeping asphalt roads.
But, when the ERC comes to town, drivers will have little time to take in the breathtaking scenery.
Based out of the Estadio Gran Canaria in Las Palmas, Free Practice opens proceedings on Thursday afternoon before the Qualifying Stage gets underway from 1503hrs. ERC priority drivers will tackle the 3.09km warm-up test against the clock, with start order selection taking place at 1730hrs.
The competitive actions kicks-off later on Thursday evening with the 1.5km Las Palmas de Gran Canaria-DISA superspecial stage, which takes place in the city centre.
Friday brings a full day of tests based near the centre and east coast of the island.
First up is Vasequillo (11.91km) followed by Santa Lucía (14.83km). Tejeda (20.78km) rounds off the loop, which is repeated once more later in the day after a 30-minute service halt.
Six stages - three of which are driven twice - make up Saturday’s finale.
It starts with Moya-Valleseco, which is the longest stage of the rally at 27.42km. Next up is Arucas (9.30km), while San Mateo (12.04km) closes out each loop.
The second passage of San Mateo forms the points-paying Power Stage where up to five bonus points are on offer for the driver who sets the fastest time.
The 13 stages cover 194.04km in a total route of 640.53km.
