Ingram was 1.7km into Sunday’s opening 10.74km DC Autos Bethania stage when he crashed his Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 with Cronin reportedly rolling his Ford Fiesta Rally2 6.7km from the stage start.
Ingram, Cronin and their respective co-drivers Alex Kihurani and Mikie Galvin are uninjured.
SS11 has been halted with crews taking the alternative route to SS12, which is scheduled to begin at 09:35 local time.
