Aleks Zawada’s dramatic spin and win on Barum Czech Rally Zlín is the FIA European Rally Championship’s nomination for the FIA Action of the Year competition.

Zawada took victory in the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 category despite his “big moment” on the sixth stage of the spectacular all-asphalt rally in Czech Republic back in August.

The ERC’s nomination will go up against submissions from other major FIA championships including Formula 1, WEC, WRC and the World Touring Car Championship which, like the ERC, is promoted by Eurosport Events.
